For Dale, intimacy with God is what it’s all about. He stands today as one of God’s vessels to bring about a restoration of kingdom truth and power by the subtle graces of symbol, image, metaphor, and even “once upon a time” kind of power. The book you now hold in your hand is an adventure of a lifetime. Fife is commonly referred to as a Kingdom because fifth century texts refer to the region as one of the seven Kingdoms of the Pictish tribes. Back then, the region was called Fib but when around the sixth century the Gaelic language became popular, the region became known as Phyffe; later anglicised to the current name of Fife.

The Kingdom of Fife () as it calls itself – it was home to Scottish monarchs for years – is a tongue of land protruding between the Firths of Forth and Tay that has managed to maintain an individual Lowland identity quite separate from the rest of the country. Lumphinnans (Scottish Gaelic: Lann Fhìonain) is a small, former mining village. It consists of no more than half a dozen streets, along the B road, from west to east between the towns of Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly, in central Fife.. Lumphinnans Primary and Community School is the local primary school, its facilities available under a community use programme in the evenings.
